Tee for Two

The sixth annual  Easter Basket Egg...Stravaganza was held in conjunction with the annual Friend, Donor, & Volunteer Appreciation on March 26th.   Businesses, organizations, and individuals created and donated over 115 Easter Baskets for a silent auction held in conjunction with the Appreciation breakfast.  Other activities included an Easter Egg Hunt for the kids, and Tony Evans Photography took pictures of kids with the Easter Bunny and made them available on his web site for people to print.  The breakfast of omelets, scrambled eggs, and biscuits and sausage gravy was delicious.  The bidding on the Easter Baskets ended at 11AM and the winning bids for  baskets totaledmore than $10,000 .  WOW!  The proceeds of the Easter Basket auction will be used for client adaptive equipment which includes mechanical as well as software and or support for client training, education, and fun!

Opportunity Gardens

What started out as just an idea has blossomed into a beautiful garden.

Opportunity Gardens located between Opportunity Living Houses K and S in Rockwell City celebrates its first growing season.  Spaces were offered up to the community on a first come first served basis.  The result was a budding success - flowers, fruits and vegetables, meticulously cared for by clients and the community flourished  in a beautiful relaxing setting.  If you are interested in sponsoring an in-ground or raised plot for next year, contact Opportunity Living at 712-464-8961.
